meet your las vegas photographers

hello. hello. hello.

Hey you! CJ and Justin here. Allow us to introduce ourselves (Definitely a Jay-Z reference):

I’m justin born and raised on the island of Oahu and have been a resident of Vegas for around 6 years. I started out in the work force in various kitchens in hawaii, then moved my way along the strip through high level fine dining restaraunts. I’ve always loved photography as a hobby without even realizing it, since around 2014. During the pandemic my wife & I started a clothing business (because why not?) and instead of hiring a photographer, we bought our own gear and dove head first. I’d spend days doing shoots with my friends and nights editing just stoking on how well we were doing. Still at this point, I didn’t even consider photography as a career. Up until CJ and I got married and hired a photographer on our own. We talked a bunch and I loved the freedom he had to do whatever, whenever. And just the fact that he actually enjoyed what he was doing and being compensated well for his time. Kitchen life is real cut throat, isn’t really built for everyone and for the most part, very toxic. The time(especially with my family of 4) and freedom that this business has given me has been unreal. Some days I look around and can’t believe this is my life. Ive been to places I thought I’d never go and worked with companies/people I never would have had the chance to meet. I’ve never had the smoothest upbringing but I’m sure that has something to do with where I’m at now. I never really had the option to fail because no one would really be there to save me. Thank you to my clients and people that support us I love y’all. Thank you for changing my life!

hey yall! it's cj. born in the philippines, raised between vegas & colorado springs. i came back to vegas because 1. snow is pretty, but not fun to deal with & 2. vegas felt more like home for me. as an asian american, you just never think to go into the arts industry. you're pushed very early on in life to commit to professions that'll "make money" because becoming a photographer or artist is not realistic. so, i've built my business & marketing skills from the roles i have been in in the past (healthcare & business consulting) however, it drained me to my core. once justin and i started shooting, it definitely made me excited to "work" again & opened up the box for me as a creative. i'm now a photographer! best part of is i get to immerse in love stories and capturing every individual's personality and story. it was never in my wildest dreams that i would end up here, but i'm so grateful for all of our family and friends who continue to support us and our clients that have gotten us to this point.
