where to elope in las vegas?

Las Vegas is no doubt one of the most popular locations to elope in the country among future brides. There’s a reason why it is called the “Wedding Capital of the World” given its convenience (no waiting period from obtaining the marriage license & ceremony itself) and one of a kind experiences. Las Vegas will be one of the top destinations for an elopement forever. There are many venues to choose from whether you’re looking for:

…a chapel elopement

Las Vegas Boulevard has an array of chapels to choose from. Ours and our couples #1 pick is A Little White Wedding Chapel. Seated at the end of the Las Vegas Blvd, this chapel boasts the vintage Vegas most are in search of. You can’t miss it since there’s a large dancing Elvis at the entrance.

They have many unique packages to choose from like a drive-thru ceremony, a pink Cadillac ceremony and even Elvis! I mean who doesn’t want Elvis serenading them? Don’t even get us started on the many photo-ops this chapel has. It’s not too busy throughout the year, but it does become very popular during holidays such as Valentines Day and the infamous 02.22.2022.

We can take a stroll across the street to take more pictures and pop a bottle of $5 champagne under the Strippers Daily sign or we can follow you to get your initials tattooed like Melissa & Alan did below. *Tip: Book your elopement during golden hour (15 minutes before sunset) for the best lighting for your photos, then we can catch the city lights in the same session.

…a hotel room elopement

Many hotels are large enough to host a very intimate evening for you and your party. MGM Sky Suite and Cosmopolitan Terrace Suite are just a couple of rooms we’ve been in for our elopements. *Tip: Unfortunately, there are hotels who are not as lax as other places about which outside vendors you can bring to your celebration. So, make sure to get in touch with someone at your hotel first.

Some hotel rooms have balconies to hold your ceremony during sunset (chef’s kiss). Bonus, if it faces the Strip, you get a stunning backdrop. Then, we can go explore the Strip to get your bridal portraits. Champagne bottles highly suggested! The Bellagio Fountains with the Eiffel Tower in the background or the Venetian hotel front for Venice-esque pictures are among our choices.

…a park elopement

Yes, Las Vegas is known for the lights and the chapels, but there’s an intimate side to it all. There are many parks to choose from within the valley. First, there’s Floyd Lamb Park. All you need is yourselves and a $6 vehicle fee. There are three lakes within the park, ducks and geese freely roaming, many picnic areas to set up a small gathering, and so much more. We definitely suggest using this beautiful space during the Spring and Fall seasons when foliage is more abundant and temperatures are tolerable.

Red Rock Canyon is another location most of our clients use. If you like the desert and nature vibes, Red Rock Canyon is definitely for you. Red Springs Picnic Area is a no cost location to take photos. There’s a beautiful boardwalk nestled below Calico Basin. Of course, there’s many options inside Red Rock Canyon as well. But, as photographers, we will need a permit to shoot your wedding there, which is an extra cost. Make sure you plan early enough to give us time for the permit to be acquired and approved.

…a museum elopement

The Mob Museum and Neon Museum are gaining popularity among brides to hold their elopements. One of my personal favorites, the Neon Museum displays the vintage neon signs of Las Vegas. They offer packages to hold your intimate elopement and photography session. If you’d like to take portraits only, they have an option for that too. For both options, photographers are allowed to go in with their couples with no extra fees!

Mob Museum Wedding

Curated and designed in a former federal house building, the Mob Museum showcases the Las Vegas mob history. Infamous organized crimes were heard in this building. Along with the long history inside, it now hosts weddings for the couples that have a interest for that era. They have so many packages to choose from for every budget. A speakeasy inside is one of the many places you can say your I Do’s.

Which elopement style are you going to pick? Either way, we’ll be ready to capture your day!
